This year, the annual EuroVelo Route Inspectors Training course will take place between Thursday 20th and Friday 21st April 2017 in Seville, Andalusia (Spain). During the two day course participants will be trained in how to survey or certify a section of a EuroVelo route, using the European Standards for long distance cycle routes.

Why should I be interested in attending the course?

The European Certification Standard is not only used to certify EuroVelo routes but also serves as quality assessment (surveying) tool for national or regional routes. The European Standard can also help to set up national standards where they do not exist and harmonise different regulations in European states.

All participants will be tested and, on the condition that they pass, they will become official European Route Inspectors.
